I couldn’t figure out what kind of tattoo to get and I was having trouble finding sites online that offered more than five pictures of different types of tattoos. I was searching online one day and I was so sick and tired of looking at the same thing over and over again and then I happened to stumble on to this review that showed me this new web site called “Tattoo Me Now.”
I tried this product about two and a half months ago and fell in love I immediately found this Celtic tattoo that I got on my left ankle. The website had thousand of new tattoos and more every day for me to go through and look at, and the best thing was that i got to talk to other people who had just gotten their tattoos done and loved them! I got to browse through forums, see pictures of all different types of tattoos and talk to other artists in my area. I can honestly say this was the best site I have ever tried in my life. I plan on using them each time I get a new tattoo and one of the coolest features on this site was that I got to blend two tattoos in to one! To make my very own, personal tattoo! It has tons of Celtic, butterfly, biker, flower, fairy, skull, tribal and all types of animal tattoos to choose from. There’s about forty different categories equaling about 3,500 tattoos in all.

Skull Tattoo Designs – What Do They Mean and Why You Should Get One
Article by Anderson Carwin
When someone chooses a tattoo to look and feel tough, it is common for them to pick an image of a skull especially since there are a variety of different skull tattoo designs. On first thought, people usually associate skulls with death or fearlessness. People usually envision darkness around skulls, but that is not always the case. Depending on the designs, the image of the skull can actually be drawn in a way that it looks cartoonish or even cute. It is interesting to see how a skull can start off at the most negative spectrum and extend all the way to the delightful and magical spectrum based solely on color and the different skull tattoo designs. But nonetheless, the meaning still remains the same regardless of the image chosen.
In Christian art and culture, skulls symbolize eternity, repentance and human vanity. A skull with a serpent crawling through the eye sockets is understood as a representation of immortality as well as knowledge. But more importantly, the skull itself is seen as a sign of triumph. In times of battle, it is common for Lords to request the head of the person they wish to see dead. The reason for the decapitation of the head is to show solid proof that the person is in fact dead, and it also displays power and superiority while bringing fear to the public.
In ancient times, the skull symbolized great change rather than death or danger. In the present day, skulls have adapted the negative light because the greatest change a person can have in their lifetime is death. But do not let death or other negative resemblances scare you away from getting a skull tattoo as there is a more positive spin on the meaning. Skull tattoos can also be seen as a symbol for protection, strength, and power. Skulls can also be used to represent a time when you overcame a tragedy or obstacle which shows your strength and determination as a person. But above all, the image of a skull makes you look tough.

Some Skull Tattoos are Really Out There
Article by Ellen
I like to follow many of the various out forms out there, and tattooing is definitely an art form.
Among the growing number of themes that are popular, skull tattoos are right up there with several others.
I’ve found that skull tattoos can include images that are silly and fun to dark and foreboding. Some people even include them on entire parts of the body, especially backs.
Probably the most eerie one out there is the one people call ‘zombie,’ where the guy has a skull face impressed onto his own face. It’s really bizarre.
Some skull tattoos can be really skillfully done, and even if you don’t like the theme, you can appreciate the art quality.
Like with most tattoos, my personal favorites are those done in 3-D. There’s something about an artist that can bring out that 3-D look on the skin that is really impressive to me.
So is a skull tattoo for you? You really need to think that one through before having it inked on your skin.
Now that we have so many varieties of temporary tattoos, I would try one of those out first if you can find you that would be similar to the one that would be permanent. That way if it isn’t quite what you thought it would be, you can simply try out something else.
Of course this would apply to any tattoo, but the skull has a certain type of representation that could have the type of impact that makes one a little more cautious if it looks bad or represents something you may regret later on.
There is the lighter side of the skull tattoo, and in many ways they’re just fun, like any other type of tattoo. With those there isn’t as much caution I think than those showing the more dark side of the medium.
