Tattoo Removal – How to Get Rid of a Tattoo

While there are options including laser treatments and surgery to help get rid of your tattoos, one of the most popular and certainly the least expensive methods is to use a topical tattoo removal treatment. Topical Tattoo Removers have become more and more popular each year and are now beginning to catch up with laser treatment in terms of usage. The main reason more and more people are deciding to use tattoo removal creams and gel is very simple: cost.
The reality is that while laser treatments are effective, they are also very expensive and almost never covered by existing health insurance plans. This is because unless removing the tattoo is medically necessary, insurance companies view the procedure as cosmetic/elective and therefore force those that want their tattoos removed to pay for the treatment out of pocket.
When you add up the final cost of having your tattoo removed via laser you could easily spend thousands and thousands of dollars. On the other hand, using a topical option is much more affordable. This is because topical solutions cost a fraction of the price of laser treatments and while it will take multiple bottles to produce visible results, it will still be much less expensive not to mention less painful than having your tattoo removed via laser or surgery.
However, it should be noted again, that while using a topical tattoo remover is effective and safe, it will take longer to see results. This is because the process used to fade and help erase a tattoo using a topical solution involves removing layers of skin until the final layer of tattooed skin is revealed and removed. Basically, topical tattoo removers help speed up the natural exfoliating process by effectively removing old layers of skin and allowing new ones to appear. This is also why old tattoos look faded and dull. When used in conjunction with an exfoliating pad, the process is even further sped-up and will fade and help erase the tattoo even more efficiently.
It should also be noted that a few weeks into using a topical tattoo removal cream or gel the unwanted tattoo will appear brighter than before. This is due to the fact that the ink is getting closer to the surface of the skin and that the process is working.
Regarding safety, using a topical tattoo removal cream or gel is the safest way to get rid of a tattoo. However, some topical tattoo removal products do use TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid), which is a skin peeling agent. These kinds of products are much more risky than using a safe tattoo removal cream or gel which relies on proven and safe ingredients like Alpha Arbutin.

Remove Tattoo Safely and Painlessly With Tattoo Removal Creams

People get tattoos for all sorts of reasons. They may be in love and want to demonstrate it by getting a tattoo of their loved one’s name. They may be in a gang and want to tattoo the gang’s slogan on their forearms. Or they may have just got too drunk at a bachelor party and decided to get one just for fun. Whatever the reason, the time may come when the tattoo becomes a liability and you have to get rid of it. There are several ways to remove tattoo but the majority of them are painful and expensive.
Currently, the most commonly used removal method is with the use of lasers. The laser light hits the tattoo pigment that lies underneath the outer layer of the skin, causing it to break up and eventually be absorbed by the body’s immune system. The easiest tattoos to remove are small ones on which black ink was used, since black absorbs all laser wavelengths; other colors, such as red or green, only absorb selected wavelengths and thus require additional treatments. The more treatments, the greater the pain and possible scarring in the treated area; getting a laser removal has been described as like being splattered with hot frying oil.
An alternative way to remove tattoo that is painless and more affordable is to use tattoo removal creams. When applied to the skin area where the tattoo is located, they lighten the ink and eventually make the tattoo fade away. Of all the tattoo removal methods, creams are generally acknowledged to be the safest and least damaging to the skin.

Having a tattoo to most people is just a matter of strolling into your local tattoo shop and looking at the many tattoo designs they have on show all around the shop. But if you would like to have a unique tattoo design then I’m afraid looking at the designs in the tattoo shop is not really going to cut it!
You see the problem with just walking into a tattoo shop and trying to find a design that you like is that the chances are a hundred other people have also chosen the one you like as well, so the chances of that tattoo design being unique is zero!
The best way to make sure that you get a tattoo that is very unique and personal to you is to design your own tattoo yourself, that way you know for definite that yours is your very own design and you will not see anybody else walking around with the same tattoo design as you.
So what is the best way to go about having your own tattoo design?
Well you could draw it out yourself if you have some artistic talent, but if you have not got an artistic bone in your body then the other option would be to go online and find some tattoo design websites that can help you out immensely.
But as with everything in life you get what you pay for and if you try and find free tattoo designs then I think you will be very disappointed! what you need to do is find one that has quality designs at an affordable price, there are tons of tattoo design websites the difficulty is in finding one that suits you and your wallet, but there are plenty out there and that way you can get a tattoo design that is not only unique but has your personality in the design so that it is a part of you and not just some picture that you liked the look of at the time but you know don’t like it anymore, just take your time and think hard about what you would be happy with for the rest of your life, because that is how long you are going to have it for.

Tattoos – Should I Get a Single Tattoo Design Or a Mural Design?

Getting a tattoo involves deciding on the style you want. One choice is that of getting a single, solid tattoo, or getting a design that is more of a mural design. Often times people become split between just getting something simple, but then also having the desire to go for something more elaborate. The two are very different approaches and choices, and there’s advantages to each, and also a way to combine both.
Single tattoo.
A single tattoo can actually stand out better than an elaborate mural like design. It’s easier visually to pick up on right away, and can pop out more immediately.
It can also do a better job of representing a certain ideal or representation. If you are looking to symbolize something, a single tattoo can do the job in a solid, straight forward manner. If you are looking to tell more of a story, then a mural design may be better.
Mural designs.
Mural designs are more elaborate looking, more complex, and sometimes more striking. They require the eye to settle in and study more closely. Murals are more busy as you have different designs and styles fusing as one.
If you have different styles that you like and different designs you are attracted to, a mural design can be perfect as it can infuse all your favorite tattoo ideas together as one.
Also, if you have more of a story to tell with your representation or symbolism, a mural can do the job that a single tattoo might not be able to do.
Getting Both: Single tattoo and Mural design.
If you have any desires on wanting to get a mural design, but are not ready to put it all together, yet still want to get inked as soon as possible, a great idea is choosing a single tattoo design which can be incorporated into a mural at a later date.
This works out great, as you’ll have your tattoo, which will stand out fine on it’s own, yet will serve as the beginning piece to a work in progress. Once you get your single tattoo design, more ideas will begin to flow on how you can add more pieces and styles on to it.

Temporary Tattoos – Safety Matters

Safety is usually the least of anyone’s concern when it comes to temporary tattoos. If you’re going to buy impermanent tattoos, you’re usually after the design. You don’t take safety into consideration. After all, it does look harmless.
What a lot of people don’t know is there is a possibility for some of these tattoos to have harmful ingredients. This is why it’s never a good idea to make your own. You should leave it to the experts. However, it’s not enough that you approach just any manufacturer. If you want to buy these tattoos, make sure that you’re going to buy them from a company who makes safety as one of their primary concerns. All you need to do is make your own temporary tattoo design, show it to a manufacturer and then ask them the following questions:
1. Are you using FDA approved inks?
You must be asking how the Food and Drug Administration fits in the picture. First of all, the FDA is a government agency directly under the United States Department of Health and Human Services. This means that it’s concerned with your health. It’s not advisable to make your own temporary tattoo because you’ll never know if you’re using safe ingredients. This should be your concern because your tattoos will come in direct contact with people. If you’re using it for events with a lot of people, their safety is your concern. You want to raise their team spirit or raise funds. You don’t want them to be in contact with materials not approved by the FDA.
2. Are you using non-toxic and hypoallergenic ingredients?
If you want to buy impermanent tattoos, you have every intentions of applying it to your body. You wouldn’t want to put something on your body that can trigger an allergic reaction or worse, be toxic to you. This will be a bigger concern if you want to make your own tattoo design and have a company manufacture them by the hundreds because you’re going to use it for a big event. You’re organizing a big event because you want to raise team spirit or funds. You’re not organizing it to have a group of people scratching their body on their way to the exit.
Now that you know these questions, safety now sounds like a big concern that you should have. If you want to make your own temporary tattoo, it can be a really big concern. All you need to do is buy these tattoos from a trusted manufacturer. Approach a manufacturer that can confidently say “Yes” to these two questions. If you do so, you’ll have the peace of mind that you’re not putting your event’s attendees in danger with unsafe ingredients. You can have fun at your event because you know that everything’s safe. You can then watch as the temporary tattoos raise the crowd’s team spirit or help you raise the funds.
