Need a Tattoo Idea or Design? Well you have come to the right place. With the growing popularity of tattoos, you cannot help but think about getting one. One thing that you want to make sure you do is get a tattoo idea that you will like forever, because tattoos are permanent. Unless of course you are willing to pay a ton of money to get it removed.

You may have a great tattoo idea but cannot find a design or picture that you really like enough to go and get it done. Some people search for a tattoo design for several months before they finally get one. The basic idea when getting a tattoo is that you should really do your research and find something you really like. Whatever you do, don’t just go into a tattoo parlor and pick out one of their tattoo designs and get it done. You should take your time and think about the design. Here are some possible solutions.

Research your tattoo idea. Many times you may have an idea of the exact tattoo you want, then you browse through some tattoo designs and you find a similiar one that you like better. This is one great reason why you shouldn’t just pick a tattoo idea out of the tattoo parlor book. While many people have a picture in mind for their tattoo, some people consider Japanese or Chinese lettering. You can spell out a name or something special to you. So you see, a tattoo doesn’t always have to be a picture of something. It should really be whatever you want, after all it is your body. Don’t get a tattoo just because you saw a cool tattoo picture.

After you research your tattoo idea it is a good idea to browse the internet for other possible tattoo designs. You never know, you may come across a whole new idea that you like better than your old one. This is why research comes in handy because you don’t want to go get a tattoo and then find an incredible tattoo design months later and regret your first one. Many search engines will help you out greatly. Just try a search on google for “tattoo idea”. You will get some great tattoo ideas.

Now that you have picked out a tattoo design you may want to go and seek out a worthy tattoo artist. This can be difficult. You don’t just want to get your tattoo at the first parlor you walk into. Again, research is key. Ask people you know where they got their tattoo and how the artist was. Many times you can find a tatto artist that will draw your tattoo idea so you can visualize how it will look once on your skin.

If you follow these steps you will appreciate it in the long run. Just because you have a tattoo idea now doesn’t mean there is not a better one out there. Do you research and pick something you like.

Find a great tattoo idea now!

Laser Tattoo Removal – Is This Really The Best Method To Remove A Tattoo?

Tattoos are becoming a very popular way for a person to express themselves; however, these art pieces are meant to be permanent, and at times this ends up with people looking to laser tattoo removal. Ex-partners’ names are a very popular reason for wanting to get the ink removed; you also have embarrassing tattoos which were done when people were young and even a dream job such as the army and other jobs which frown upon tattoos are all other popular reasons for wanted to erase the ink from your body. Thanks to the advancement of technology surgery has become a more trustworthy way to get rid of any unwanted ink safely, but is this insanely expensive method really worth all the money and pain when there are actually other methods out there that you can go on to use?

Laser Tattoo Removal

This process has a lot of detail behind it but to keep it short a high intensity laser attacks your tattoo pigments in the skin and this breaks them into tiny particles allowing your body to get rid of them. The process can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes depending on the size of the tattoo and you will have to go to a few sessions over a few weeks to months to remove the full effect of the tattoo.

The cost of this method is extremely expensive and can range from twice to triple the amount you paid for the tattoo to be done (and sometimes even more!) and the pain is also more than it was getting the tattoo done too.

Finally the side-effects for this method include scarring, abrasions and the skin growing back lighter or darker than it was before the procedure.

Our rating 4/5

Chemical Peel

Chemical peel is becoming a very wide used way to get rid of unwanted ink. All you have to do is put the chemical onto your skin and a controlled burn occurs which breaks up the tattoo pigment and the skin will peel (with the ink) and scab over with new skin. You will have to go through this many times to make sure that the full effect occurs.

This method is cheaper than the laser surgery but it can be a bit painful and sometimes it may not work as well and too has the side-effect of scarring the skin.

Our rating 3/5

Natural Methods

Many people don’t even know that natural methods are available but in my opinion they are the best alternative to laser tattoo removal. They don’t leave you with any scarring, abrasions and are very cheap too when you compare them to the other methods.

Examples of Metaphor

Here are metaphor examples so you can see how they are used in language and songwriting. Here is a set of phrases which each are examples of metaphor.

Metaphor is a very powerful part of any creative writing that you wish to do. The examples of metaphor you use must move your listener. Must help them understand the concepts you are presenting and do it in a fresh and interesting way.

This is especially true in songwriting where you only have about 28 lines to tell your story. In reality its less (about 16-20 lines) because you usually repeat the lines of the chorus three times.

The words you choose must be powerful to compete with other songs and make your song stand out. You only have a very brief time to connect to your listener through the pictures you paint and the emotions you weave in your words.

Merriam-Webster defines a metaphor as “a figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness or analogy between them (as in drowning in money)”.

John Cowell is self proclaimed songwriting addict. His fresh approach to songwriting tips and advice will have you saying “Ah-Ha” over and over again.
